Joseph Fuller began playing the piano at the early age of 5.  Once his parents found a teacher who was willing to teach a 5 year old, he took to it instantly and by the age of 9, he was playing in churches and local events.  Once Joseph reached his teenage years, his teacher then told him that he had advanced passed her teaching and that he needed to move on to other teachers.  At this point, he was 3 years from graduation and was looking to college.  He was blessed with a wonderful teacher that began to prepare him for his college auditions.  Joseph received a full scholarship to Sam Houston State University to focus on Piano Performance.  He spent his time a Sam Houston State University performing piano concertos, honor recitals and numerous theater shows and vocal recitals.  Upon graduation, Joseph was recruited by Baylor University to do a Masters degree in Collaborative Piano.  There he focused on opera and vocal accompanying and spent his time at Baylor playing for numerous vocal and instrument recitals and opera productions.

Joseph made is professional debut with the Berkshire Opera Company in 2003 as the pianist for “The Secret Marriage”.  He received rave reviews from “Curtain Up” which included “thanks to Joseph Fuller’s deft playing, the piano served the production well”.  In 2004, Joseph  moved to Indianapolis, IN to be the coach/ accompanist for the Indianapolis Opera Company.  There he toured with the company’s singers to various venues in the mid-west and prepared the company’s production of “The Crucible” in 2005.  He had the privilege to work with the opera’s composer, Robert Ward in which Mr. Ward thanked him for doing such justice to his work and for playing his music so well.  During his time in Indianapolis, Joseph worked with the Indianapolis Children’s Choir under the direction of world renowned conductor Henry Leck.  There is worked very closely with Mr. Leck in preparing the choir’s concerts and tours.

In June of 2006, Joseph suffered a serious car accident that prevented him from being able to play the piano for a year.  Through intensive therapy, prayers, tears and God’s grace, he returned to the piano and began working on rebuilding what was taken in the accident.

Currently, Joseph resides in Houston and serves as a free-lance accompanist for Houston Grand Opera and is working on the promotion and tour of his new CD.

Joseph Fuller’s first studio album entitled "Release..." is now available. This album is a reflection upon his faith and the many years of being a part of many church music ministries. The songs on this album are widely recognized hymns that echo the truths that God is walking with us, guiding us and is taking care of us every step of the way.
